Do I have to hand over my bank login?+
Not to get started. GoConfi works from the plan you set up and the receipts you photograph, and your bank password stays with your bank. If we add a bank connection later, it will be your choice, never a requirement, and you’ll hear about it first.
So I have to type in every coffee?+
You don’t. Your fixed bills come from your plan and wait to be ticked off. Day-to-day spending you log with a photo in five seconds. Or you don’t, and the app simply shows what it knows. It never pretends to know more.
Is it free?+
Free for now. No card, no trial clock, no feature that quietly locks after a week. If we ever charge, you’ll hear it from us first, in plain numbers, and nobody gets ambushed by a renewal. Everyone who tested GoConfi with us keeps the full app for the life of their account, at no charge, whatever comes later.
What happens to my receipt photos?+
Read once, then discarded. We keep the amount, merchant, date, and category; the picture of your shopping is gone before you’ve put the phone down. Everything else is in the
privacy policy, written by a person, in plain language.
Is Clarity an AI? What does it see?+
Clarity is an AI voice on top of your own numbers. GoConfi does the maths itself, from your plan and your receipts, and Clarity only puts the result into words: it is told to rephrase, never to invent. When you ask a question, the text you typed and this month’s figures go to our AI provider for a few seconds, with no name, email, or images attached, and we never use any of it to train anything. There is no bank account for it to see.
I’m not German. Is this for me?+
Yes. You build your own plan in your own currency, so it works wherever you live. If you happen to be in Germany, a ready-made starter plan (rent, Rundfunkbeitrag, Deutschlandticket, insurance) is on its way, a relief if you’ve just arrived and every letter looks important.
Where do I get it?+
On Android, from Google Play, today: tap the badge, or scan the code on the receipt below with your phone’s camera. The iPhone app is on its way to the App Store. Tap Remind me and we write once, the day it lands, and nothing before.
